so we went to look at a couple of buses today

There were three of them at a local junkyard. I should have brought my camera, but I forgot it. I’m seriously considering buying a school bus.

Follow up on H.R. 875 and S425 -”food safety” bill to criminalize organic farming

So here’s the deal:

This is for real, its not a joke.

Through a “food safety” bill the government is trying to control the food supply. This bill would give the gov’t the right to come into your backyard, take your homegrown produce and test it for “safety”.

Section 402 Food detention, seizure and condemnation (pg 86, line 19):
EXPANDED AUTHORITY The Administrator shall have authority under section 304 of the Federdal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (21 U.S.C. 334) to administratively detain and seize any food regulated under this Act that the Administrator has the reason to believe is unsafe, is adulterated, or misbranded, or otherwise fails to meet the requirements of the Food Safety Law.

The bill is extremely vague and doesn’t actually define what a “farm” is.

The LEAD sponsor of the bill is Rep. Rose DeLauro who happens to be married to Stan Greenberg, a politically strategist that works for Monsanto.
